Catch up time
It seems ages since I did a blog post (correction - it IS ages) and since I last filled everybody in on my literary activities, I have released Malignant. It has proved to be a really good seller, and the reviews have been excellent, so thank you to everybody who has already bought this.
On Monday 10th December I will be moving on to book number nine, Murder Undeniable. This is the first book in the Kat and Mouse trilogy. Katerina Rowe is a church deacon and lives in the plague village of Eyam in Derbyshire. Beth Walters comes into her life in a brutal fashion and the escort girl and the church deacon become close friends. Beth is known by her nickname to her friends and family - Mouse.
One other important member of this unlikely alliance is Mouse's grandmother, Doris. She is one hell of a feisty lady, and keeps control of both Kat and Mouse to a great degree.
This book is a slight deviation from my normal scribbles. It isn't a psychological thriller, it is a cosy mystery (I absolutely refuse to write cozy) and two more will follow: Murder Unexpected launches on 11th February, and Murder Unearthed launches on 2nd July. I have so taken to these characters that it almost feels as if they now live in my house.
I hope you enjoy this new strand in my writing career - please let me know. I have actually started a new psychological thriller, so maybe by the end of the year...
