Meet Dom and Sammy

And so we arrive at the next two children, Dominic Brownlow and Sammy Walker.

Here's a little bit about them both, but we're only four days away from meeting them properly!

Dominic Brownlow, known more simply as Dom, is the perfect foil for his brother. Mark has strength of character, Dom will simply do things without thinking them through, knowing Mark will have his back.

He shares a bedroom with his brother; they are close as twins usually are and talk far into the night if they have issues that need sorting. They have an admiration for their sister, Freya, that knows no bounds. She is confident, her own person, and if anyone crosses her, they are punished.

Dom is second in command in the group, again decided by a thumbs up decision.

Sammy Walker is also in the same class as the Brownlow twins, and his beautiful dark skin covers a wiry frame. He has curly black hair and very dark eyes. He is also in love with Freya Brownlow. He takes care of her and spends as much time as is allowed with her and the others.

To quote from the book: His curly black hair and flashing dark eyes, combined with an ever-present smile, made him a cool kid at school. Sammy, in return, had found the love of his life in Freya. It was a match made in heaven, and they laughed and joked and loved without even so much as a shared kiss between them. They didn’t even mind saying bye as the days headed towards evening, because they knew they would be together again the following morning. To them, their friendship was a beautiful thing.

Sammy lives with his mother, Janey Walker, a single mother, who loves and supports her son.
